The Chinacnczone Handheld Laser Welding Machine is a versatile, high-performance tool designed for welding, cutting, cleaning, and seam cleaning. Its 4-in-1 functionality makes it an ideal choice for metalworking professionals.
This guide will walk you through how to use this machine effectively and safely, based on the official user manual.
1. Welding Mode
1.1 Connecting the Wire Feeder
To begin welding, you’ll need to connect the wire feeder to the handheld welding gun:

-
Select the appropriate copper nozzle and wire feeding nozzle based on the welding wire diameter.
-
Adjust the scale tube to “0” for optimal focal length.
-
Common nozzle types include:
-
AS-12: For fillets below 1.2mm (flat, inner, and outer angles)
-
BS-16: For fillets below 1.6mm
-
CS-12/FS-16: For outer angle welding
-
ES-12: For outer corner sheet welding
-
C-type: For non-wire feeding and outer corner welding
-

1.2 Parameter Settings
Ensure the Laser Enable switch is turned on. The safety clip must be clamped onto the workpiece.
Here’s a reference table for welding parameters:

Material | Thickness (mm) | Scan Speed (mm/s) | Scan Width (mm) | Peak Power (W) | Duty Cycle (%) | Frequency (Hz) | Wire Speed (cm/s) | Wire Type |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

1.3 Laser Startup Steps
Follow these steps to start the laser safely:
-
Connect the power input to the correct voltage and phase.
-
Connect the wire feeder to the FEEDER interface.
-
Connect the protective gas pipe and open the gas valve.
-
Ensure water chiller temperature is ≥20°C.
-
Turn on the power switch on the rear panel and release the emergency stop switch.
-
Adjust parameters on the touch screen (power, amplitude, frequency).
-
Set the gas valve to “normally open” and adjust flow to 15L/min.
-
Clamp the safety clip to the workpiece.
-
Turn on the laser start button and laser enable switch.
-
Press and hold the gun switch to emit light.
2. Cutting Mode

2.1 Installing the Cutting Copper Nozzle
-
Attach the cutting nozzle and ensure the scale tube is set to “0”.
-
Clamp the safety clip to the metal part of the gun head.
2.2 Parameter Adjustment
-
Enter the welding interface.
-
Set Weld Width to 0.
-
Ensure Laser Enable is turned on.

3. Cleaning Mode
3.1 Installing the Cleaning Lens
-
For small-area cleaning (rust, paint, oil), use the standard F150 lens.
-
For larger areas and higher efficiency, use the F600 lens.
-
Maximum cleaning width: 120mm with F800 lens; 30mm with F150 lens.

Steps to replace the lens:
-
Loosen the thumb screw.
-
Replace the nozzle module with the cleaning dust-proof hood.
-
Swap the focusing lens assembly (D20-F150) with the cleaning lens (D20*4.75-F600).
-
Clamp the safety clip to the gun head.

3.2 Enabling Cleaning Mode
-
Click “Switch to cleaning mode” on the welding interface.
-
Enter password: 5000.
-
You’ll enter the cleaning interface where you can adjust parameters like Scan Width (max 120mm).

4. Welding Seam Cleaning Mode
-
Use the C-type nozzle for seam cleaning.
-
Set the Scan Width between 5–8mm based on the oxidized or burnt seam width.

Key Safety Notes
-
Always wear laser safety glasses.
-
Ensure proper grounding and gas connections.
-
Never look directly into the laser beam.
-
Keep the work area well-ventilated and free of reflective surfaces.
-
Regularly check and maintain lenses and cooling systems.
